  Shady practices on automotive loans. Will use technicality to try and levy "Collateral Protection Insurance" on your note to the tune of $4k+ (due over a 12 month period). Unethical, at best, when proof of insurance had been submitted prior. As an Automotive Industry vet I'm highly concerned with the business practices of this CU. Buyer beware. Here's the even greater rub, in the State of Oklahoma you have to provide proof of insurance on your current vehicle (trade-in) at time of purchase. You have a 30 day grace period to get your insurance switched over. However, 'internal policy' at CFCU will not honor this grace period once they've applied this Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) to your account. They will only honor a refund of a portion of the CPI to the earliest date you can prove your new vehicle's vin was specifically covered under the new policy. Shady, at best.…

  I've been a member here for 15 years and the service has become progressively worse. Wait times are longer and they seem to be more focused on expansion than quality customer service. They deposited a check into the wrong account once.

  Pretty good loan place. Had no credit but still got a loan for 9% only. I think it's pretty good rate.
